Look at the photo, you’ll be impressed by the white quote “Let’s go Brandon”. Why does the quote come from and what does it mean? Let’s discover the quote to understand more about the shirt.

NASCAR fans chant “Fuck Joe Biden!” or “Let’s go Brandon”?

NASCAR fans chant

The Let’s Go Brandon Shirt originates from an interview between Brandon Brown and NBC reporter Kelli Stavast.

A few days ago, the chants of “Fuck Joe Biden” broke out during an interview of driver Brandon Brown, who won his first Nascar Xfinity Series race victory at Alabama’s Talladega Superspeedway.

When Brandon had an interview, he told a sports reporter that his victory was “everything [he’d] hoped and dreamed for.”

“Everything I’ve ever wanted to do is take the trophy home to mom and dad”, he continued before thanking his sponsors and supporters.

Nascar officials announced Brown as the winner after he beat Brandon Jones in the final scoring round.

As the chants grew louder, the camera turned to the fans in the Talladega Superspeedway stands. The reporter soon recognized the anti-Biden chants and claimed the fans were shouting “Let’s go, Brandon.” She attempted to cover it.

“As you can hear the chants from the crowd — ‘Let’s go, Brandon,’” she responded and continued to ask Brown about his winning strategy.

The interview quickly flooded on social media with questions. Many people wonder whether the NBC reporter was happy not knowing what the real meaning was or whether she tried to downplay the situation.

Fellow sports commentator, Clay Travis, asks on social media, “Is she really not aware what they’re chanting?”

Former President Donald Trump’s son, Donald Trump Jr. also shared his thoughts and tweeted: “I’m pretty sure they’re not chanting ‘Let’s go Brandon’”.

On Twitter, The NBC reporter was criticized for allegedly trying to draw attention to the chants. Many people mock and express their views on Twitter about this case.

One user tweeted “Yes, the reporter is trying to deflect with Let’s Go Brandon when it’s really F**k Joe Biden” while another said, “‘Let’s go Brandon‘ sounds EXACTLY like ‘F**K JOE BIDEN‘ so I can see how the newscaster didn’t hear it correctly.”

One person wrote, “She makes a vain attempt to cover what’s really being said, but it’s obvious at sporting events all over the country people are chanting FUCK @JoeBiden.”

Another tweeted, “Funny how the reporter tries to cover the chants of ‘F Joe Biden’ by stating they’re saying ‘Let’s go Brandon.’ If this happened for @POTUS45 they clearly announced the negative chant & broadcast it on every MSM station that night & the next 5 days straight. #unfair #Hypocrites.”

One person posted on Twitter, “Spin spin spin. This lady’s lying on national television. They’re clearly yelling F-Joe Biden at NASCAR Races and Football stadiums across the US.”

Another shared his view, “Dishonest @NBCNews. It’s ‘F Joe Biden’ NOT Lets go Brandon so pathetic MSM cannot cover up the OBVIOUS!! Trump Won America KNOWS THIS God Bless The American People,” adding, “Fake News Wont Report Corrupt Biden installed Nov 3rd Coup America defrauded of Our Votes!”

Nascar initially posted a video of the interview on Twitter but later deleted the clip.

Brown also tweeted “Let’s Go Brandon” himself, though it’s unclear if he’s using it to actually cheer himself up or use it in the way Republicans on Twitter are using.

The anti-Biden chants have been increasingly heard at large public gatherings in the south and midwest, including numerous football games, anti-mandate protests, a boxing match, the Ryder Cup golf tournament, and even into the broadcast booth.

“Let’s Go Brandon” becomes a trend

It’s not clear whether NBC NASCAR reporter Kelli Stavast truly heard the crowd chanting “Let’s Go Brandon!” or trying to divert attention from the chant quickly, “Let’s Go Brandon!” has sharked a wave of excitement on social media. Those who aren’t satisfied with the U.S. President tweet a lot with “Let’s Go, Brandon!”.

President Joe Biden seems to lose the points of many people. A wave of criticism and anti-Biden has been growing dramatically. When he took a visit to New York and New Jersey on September 7 to inspect the damage caused by Hurricane Ida, Biden was greeted with boos and profane banners from a group of residents after he took off at John F Kennedy Airport in Queens.

When his motorcade rolled through New Jersey, one red, white, and blue flag in the background was embellished with the words, “F**k Biden… And F**k You Voted For Him.”
